This happened to me a few months ago. Your black rim can probably be successfully repaired for a guesstimated $150 (rim only). Mine could **not** be repaired (although the damage was very minor) because I have the bi-color 719 rims which have a partially-machined finish.
My damn local dealer quoted $550 for just the rim, without mounting and without the **required** new valve stem. I found the same rim (boxed and new) at various online BMW dealers and aftermarket vendors for up to $192 less than my dealer had offered. I ended up buying the replacement rim from a nice BMW dealer in an adjacent state for just over $350, and also saved the sales tax. I paid just $30 for shipping. The valve stem was another $20 (versus $29 locally).
I took the new rim and valve stem to my local BMW dealer for mounting ($45). I thought the price was fair, and had wanted a high-volume BMW-specific shop with an excellent mounting machine to do the tire/valve stem installation, in case of any issue. I unboxed and photographed the new unblemished rim with the service advisor present, to make sure that its perfect condition was on record. I also asked that my old scuffed rim be cleaned and boxed for me.
In thanks, I handed the advisor $20 and thanked him for taking care of my car. He said he'd personally give my car, right away, to his best tire guy. An hour later, I was on my way home, considerably relieved that the traumatic ordeal was much simpler and less costly than I'd imagined.
